They charged me $12 for a single pair of break pads (these things go for $6 for a full set) even though I didn’t need them nor approved their installment. When I realized that they’d done it a few days later, I came in asking for them to remove the part and issue me a refund but they refused. Check your receipts! Or better yet, go to one of the other bike shops in Astoria.

It was quite busy on a Sunday morning. There were 3 or so people being attended to. I quickly cut the line as my issue was an easy one. My front brake was touching the wheel and I needed it adjusted. The representative fixed in less than 5 minutes, which later cost me $10!! Well, I guess that was my fault for not asking how much it would cost but nevertheless quick/easy job.
