It’s like taking a little trip to Japan. Amazing selection of food, fresh sushi, Kobe beef, beer and sake bar inside… Well it wasn’t open yet because of covid… But I did try it before covid and it was awesome. All kinds of Japanese beers and sake available. I wish I lived closer. I’d probably come here every other day.

Great place to buy Japanese groceries! I used to go all the way to Mitsuwa (Yaohan) in Costa Mesa to buy sushi, curry or pocky now it is just a 5 to 10 minute drive. Great place to buy all Great Japanese Ramune and soda too!

This is not your average grocer. The store is super clean. The meat department-superb, as in you’ll find the meat preparation will put the large grocers to shame. To manage your expectation, I will say that the prices are premium as is the quality. The hot food department-insane and prepared with quality ingredients. The sushi section-make you regret your last visit to the restaurant. You’ll also find the mega-giant selection of sake that will out do any bodega or alcohol vendor. I found sake ranging from the most common brands and types to some that exceed $100 per bottle. Then the snack section- mind-blowing. Snacks, candy, ice cream from Japan and Hawaii. The bakery-Omg. Just go explore. Even the bread is at another level much less the cakes and desserts.I drive 40 miles to get to this store so my trips are few weeks apart but very much worth the effort.I only wish that this place was closer to my area. My life would improve by ten folds because of the quality whole foods they carry.Thank you for reading my review, have a good day ☀
