This is the best UPS store I have ever visited, and the folks working there are so lovely and helpful. I was moving out of my apartment in San Francisco and had to ship a few things across the country. I misread the closing hours and showed up a few minutes after closing. Prava was so lovely and took pity on me, she said I could bring my stuff inside and they would ship it the next day. She took my information down, and as promised, she called exactly at the time she told me she would the following morning. She took care of the shipping, settled everything over the phone, and emailed me the receipt. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! THANK YOU, PRAVA!! You are a credit to UPS, and I am eternally grateful for your help.

Rude and unhelpful, it was like a ten minute bad comedy routine with the woman at the counter, she claimed I had to pay for a gigantic box to ship my item, then was going to ship it in the smaller box it was already in, then said they can’t insure it that way (maybe she should have mentioned that before going through her extra long process to quote me that price), she said it’s $30 extra for bubble wrap, $150 for shipping, $70 for the box to pack my small 20 pound item that was already in a box, and on and on and on. It felt like who’s on first trying to get any clear information. I eventually gave up and went next door to FedEx where they packed and shipped it for $180 instead of $250, and in a box that fit it instead of the gigantic box the UPS store woman was claiming it needed. It felt like being cheated at a used car dealer with the different prices she kept giving me, rather than a professional business where they have clear policies and prices.
