I am not one to post a review somewhere but this situation needs to be shared. About 2 months ago I took a package to be mailed to someone in a different state- when I went in the owner was the one helping me. I do not go mail packages everyday so I expected the professional to be able to take care of me as this is what they do daily. The only thing she asked is if it needed to get to the destination by a certain date and I told her no. I was never asked the value of the package or if I would like to insure it. Again, I rarely mail things so this is not something I think about. A few weeks later I got a picture from the guy buying the items that showed a empty package with a sticker from USPS stating it was empty when they received it.I immediately went to the UPS store in hoped that the contents had possibly fallen out in a bin or somewhere where they could have been found. The same lady that helped me the original day was there to help me again. She seemed very irritated from the start and when I asked if they possibly found the contents she acted as if that was a dumb questions. When she asked the value of the package and I told her $350 she was definitely irritated. She told me should would file a claim through USPS and go from there. She even had me email her all of the proof of payment from the guy buying the items. I asked her at that time if I needed to contact the post office and she told me no. So I didn’t.. Weeks went by without me hearing anything- I was trying my best to be patient but finally decided to call. When I called she seemed immediately frustrated when I told her who I was, used a rude tone and informed me that she can not control how long the post office takes to look at the claim. I then told her that I would give them a call myself and she told me not to that she would get it taken care of. A week goes by and I hear nothing so I call again and she still gives me the go around. Finally my husband decided to call and see if he was told anything different. On this call the lady that we were dealing with all along was SO RUDE! I could not believe the lack of customer service. She informed him that this was NOT her responsibility and we needed to take it up with USPS because she was not doing anything about it. I then decided to call USPS customer service and see if there was ever a file claimed over this. The lady said they had NEVER submitted a claim and she told me at this point it was too late for me to do it. She also said I should have called right when it happened because it would have been possible that they had the contents at that time. This was very frustrating because that is what I planned on doing but the owner at the UPS store assured me that she was helping me take care of it.All in all this whole mess was a horrible experience.

This ups store offers more services and better service than any other ups store/fed ex office I’ve ever been to. They offer so many services like printing, scanning, business cards, banners etc at better prices. and they are always so accommodating. I always recommend this store to my friends since I know they’ll always be taken care of here.
