I had a music keyboard packed and shipped from Austin to Florida.

My shipment was mishandled at their facility causing a massive delay.

Standard for UPS with slow service, unhappy employees, and poor instructions.

The customer service has been mostly great. There have been a few mix-ups over the years regarding picking up packages. There have been a number of times that I asked if a package was in and although it was in, I was told that it wasn’t. The rates charged to use a computer to print a label is ridiculous. There’s no reason why it needs to be as expensive as it is. IMO it should be complimentary if you are printing shipping pages within a reasonable amount.

Worst customer service experience! I shipped ten packages of personal belongings from Austin to Virginia via the UPS store as part of a move paying almost $600 in total. Six of the packages arrived in a timely manner, four were inadvertently shipped back to the UPS store. These things happen. However, the way that the UPS store of Austin (Congress Avenue) has handled the wayward packages has been abysmal. Phone calls are returned days/weeks later. Promised emails with shipment information are never sent. Requests for credit from either the UPS store or UPS itself are scoffed at as unreasonable. After one month, they have offered to ship my packages to me for no additional charge or they will give me a credit and keep the packages.Do not use this location. They have horrendous customer service.

I went here often over the last few months for all my shipping needs, particularly for returns. The staff on hand were all SUPER friendly, awesome, and helpful people. For single page pre-paid return labels, they had no problem printing it out for me free of charge. However, the last time I returned, I was told curtly that this policy has changed and they will start charging us $3 to use their public computer to print something out (plus the printing fee). Really?? I don’t mind paying a little bit for a print, but this is a prepaid shipping label we’re dealing with, and the computer charge is just predatory and greedy especially when it seemed there was no issue before. So ridiculous. Not coming back.
