DO NOT USE UPS!!! This review is about UPS. Not the store or it’s employees. UPS lost a very sentimental watch that was being shipped insured with them. After 3 weeks past the delivery date I finally got someone from UPS on the phone. Informed them about what was taking place and the service center personnel proceeded to tell me that they weren’t responsible for the lost watch because they weren’t the shippers. Wait what! I took the watch to this UPS store and they are tell me that they aren’t the shippers. He then proceeded to tell me that UPS doesn’t ship anything, they turn it over to the Postal Service to ship and that the USPS is responsible for the lost watch. Wait a dang minute! I told him that if I wanted to ship an item via the USPS, I would have taken it to the post office not the UPS store. He stated that it is very rare that they ship their own products anymore. He proceeded to tell me that since they didn’t ship the watch, even though I took it to an Actual UPS store and purchased the insurance, that they aren’t responsible for the lost package. He provided a tracking number that did in fact show that a UPS truck delivered the package to a USPS post office to be shipped. In my eyes they are still responsible for the lost watch. Again, I trusted UPS to ship and deliver the package NOT the USPS! If I wanted the USPS to ship and deliver the package, I would have taken it to the local post office.
