Very small museum without air conditioning on a hot, hot day.

We stumbled upon the museum while passing through town.We learned alot! Aside from the scientific aspects, we took the time to read the personal stories of those who were treated there, and how their lives shaped the town, along with their contributions to the arts, science, and even living in the wilderness. This is a perfect place to gain some insight, especially during the midst of our current crisis.Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my time at this historical laboratory museum. History is my thing but didn’t know much about TB history. Learned a lot. Place is well organized. Didn’t realize how prevalent this illness was. Many well known people took the cure in Saranac Lake. We are fortunate to have science on our side.

I stopped into the museum to get warm and as I was standing there the people received me very well were very kind and it was a very clean atmosphere. The people behind the counter seem to be very knowledgeable of the history of the area
