Went here for rent assistance. I was on the verge of being homeless. Unfortunately they could not help me even though the county hotline referred me to them. Other Selvation Armys do have rent assistance but you have to be a resident of that city.

I became a volunteer for ring bell or kettle before in Salvation Army San Gabriel , yes, you just need to ring the bell, but it is not a easy job if you spent your time and heart to do it. I need to stand in front of the store, smile, and say “Merry Christmas” to every one who passed me. And sometime it was cold!! But I love to do it cause people know Salvation Army and I know I did not do this for myself! I was so thankful to have this experience! I hope more and more people can have this experience in their lives. You will know that HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU NO MATTER WHAT!

This is a very nice place, helping with low income families. They are having Christmas Gift Distribution on 12/15. I would like to go visit again!
