Salvation Army pretends to mean well but in actuality don’t. I live in a hotel with no kitchen. I go to them for help and they’d rather go through all your personal info and question you about why food stamps aren’t lasting instead of helping with food. I don’t have a car and had recently undergone surgery just to be told it isn’t that far to walk with the stuff. These people evidently have no idea some of the struggles people without an apartment bave. I carry lots of stuff far distances( farther then they walk when they drive everywhere) If you are not Hispanic then you don’t matter in Middletown NY.
