The rice factory sells unique crops of special import Japanese rice and refines the rice for you at the time of sale for maximum freshness. If you are looking for the highest quality rice, there is no other comparable store. They have a great home delivery operation, but it’s worth visiting the store yourself and picking up some of the other high quality Japanese products like cooking sake, soy sauce, canned mackerel (delicious) or my favorite – the fish-shaped kitchen sponges. I sincerely recommend this store.

So this is an odd little place and I hope it stays in business. They stock many varieties of short grain rice. They stock the varieties as brown rice and the mill it into white rice fresh for you to order. This is sushi snobbery taken to another level an I for one support it. The also stock aged soy sauce, high quality miso, and a small selection of Japanese pottery. Please check them our they are awesome. Also they have the best rice snacks I have ever tried.
