Exceptionally nice people – except for the Englishman that worked there on my last and final visit. But he admitted he was born and raised Andalusia so I haven’t figured that out. He said he taught college. He also expressed the opinion that if I made $1M a year I should be taxed $900k because I didn’t need it and it would go to help others. He would not comment on his own donations. I did not appreciate communists being in charge of Coffee Country history so I have not returned, I have paid no more dues and truly wish I had my donations and map/document contributions back. I was so disgusted I have not even spoke about it for years. I have ancestors in other counties and have chosen to concentrate on their available information. The one star is for the Society’s choice to allow him there as an authority.
