The best museum in the world if you take in consideration all the things you can see and the quality of the collection. You are going to need several days to see everything.It’s a good idea to eat in the restaurants that are inside because it’s more convenient but they are very expensive, $16.50 for a Sandwich and $6 for 2 cookies to get an idea. And they aren’t that good. Also the AC is too high, so get a sweater if you suffer the ❄️.

I was up from Georgia visiting New York for a week. What a beautiful city. But, if you only have time for one thing, go to The MET. This museum is the greatest I have been to. When I was there they had the Arms and Armor exhibit open and it was absolutely amazing. The place is super clean and well organized, the staff are amazing and helpful, and the entrance payments are focused and fair. Honestly, even if you have no reason to go to New York, travel there just for The MET. It’s a truly humbling experience. Both from the size of the building and the history of the objects housed there.

Awesome place if you love art history, there are so many artworks! Because of Covid though, getting into the museum was a pain. We bought tickets online, but we waited in a line we didn’t have to and realized we could have walked in through the front and just show your phone to scan if you already bought tickets. Other than that, the artworks are amazing to see, definitely check out the Egyptian artwork.
