Please note that the entrance is on the opposite side of the street from the typical visitor center entrance. I thought the museum was closed temporarily but you start your visit at the Carriage House. We had a wonderful time and basically had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable especially the woman who greeted us at the carriage house. What a wealth of knowledge so thank you. We learned a lot and enjoyed the art exhibits.

Great exhibit of horse drawn carriages, sleighs, and street car with a few outdoor barn exhibits and a small gallery of artwork. About 1 1/2 hours with Little kids, they liked it.
