This is almost a 5 star store, but it suffers from being the original Irving store and is a smaller footprint than newer stores. It has a great location but bad parking lot design that makes the flow of traffic congested. Staff 8nside are always helpful and usually knowledgeable, but like all HD today they are few and far between. Inventory is sometimes limited here because of the high contractor usage of a smaller store. This store works, it could be better, but it is making the best of what it is.

Always seem to have difficulty navigating the store these days due to so much promotional merch in the aisles. I get it, new season, new product lines but it is a hardware store and if you are pushing one of the lumber carts you should still be able to get around the store without destroying thousands of dollars in merchandise while trying not to put fellow shoppers in the e.r. I understand this is one of the smaller stores but seriously, let’s not make it even more difficult to get to what you need.
