Went in looking for a new recliner. Was greeted immediately and shown several different options. Sales person asked me questions to see exactly what I was looking for. Found the recliner I was wanting and it was set up for delivery by the end of the week! Will be back when I need more furniture!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Company was nice enough, but the issue was never handled. We are still stuck with this mess until we save up enough to purchase more later. We previously had Lay Z Boy furniture and it lasted for a very long time. So, when we were in the market to buy a new living room set, we wanted the same brand. We visited this company since it was one of the few local stores that carried this brand. We were torn between ordering real leather or the bonded leather. The price was not a huge difference between the two, but the bonded was somewhat cheaper. The sales staff assured us that their new bonded leather was great and with the warranty (we had to purchase as well) they offered, it would be a good choice for our family. We spent around $4, 000 on a sofa and two recliners. Fast forward several months, our recliner seat suddenly started peeling. We contacted the The Furniture Shoppe (they are the owners of Lay-Z-Boy Gallery). They were kind and seemed concerned, but advised us to contact the warranty company (I can’t remember the name to save my life right now). We did, the warranty company gave us a hard time. They ultimately refused to honor repair our chair. After many conversations with the owner of the furniture store over a lengthy period of time; the warranty company finally honored our warranty and repaired the seat of our chair. They told us in not so many words that they wouldn’t honor anything else again. Thankfully, The Furniture Shoppe did sever ties with the warranty company and will not be selling their warranties anymore. Not long after, other pieces of our furniture began to peel. We tried multiple times to get in touch with the warranty company, but to no avail. It was like they fell off the face of the Earth! Since the furniture store had sent us through the warranty company, never accepted any liability, and never once offered to stand behind the product they were selling during lengthy time of dealing with them, we decided they weren’t going to do anything about the mess of furniture we bought. We decided that we would never do business with this store again. We chalked it up to an expensive lesson learned. I know any product can be faulty, but I would at least expect they could offer a few hundred dollars credit toward another set of our choice as a customer satisfaction effort. Anything would have been better than nothing. I also believe they had to have known that peeling was an issue with their bonded leather products. We were naive and oblivious to this (we should have done some research), but the experts should know as well. There are tons of photos of this brand/product with the same issues online now. To make a long story short, don’t buy bonded leather anything! You will end up with a mess like this less than 4 years later! That is in the ballpark of $1,000 /year for furniture that is embarrassing to look at, especially when company comes over. Due to it being a reclining set, there really aren’t any furniture covers that work to remedy this aesthetic nightmare either! Makes me sick that we ever bought this furniture!!!! I am sharing a few photos. Keep in mind this is only a few pictures. There is literally peeling on every piece! We take care of our things, this is not from misuse. BUYER BEWARE!

I bought a couch ,two chairs ,ottoman and credenza. They were very helpful when I purchased all of this furniture but I had to wait a month for what they had to order and then pay another delivery charge . When my other furniture finally arrived one of my chairs wasn’t working so they picked it up for repair .When I was contacted about delivery for the chair That had to be repaired after only using for a month they said because I wouldn’t be home till after 2:30 it would be another week for delivery . I had to insist that I wasn’t waiting another week for chair until they agreed to deliver. Very disappointed in how they handled this situation.
