I absolutely love the Darkroom! I will never go anywhere else to get my film developed. They are awesome! You send your film, they develop it, they give you web uploads, and then, you get your negatives, prints, and a CD. It’s not the cheapest, but it is the greatest!I have had 8 FujiFilm disposable cameras developed here, and every single one of them had successful results.As a person with autism, I don’t trust myself with building a darkroom or developing my own film. I’ve been sending them my film for years. Each time they process and return the negatives in a timely manner. Their scans have a decent quality and the occasional prints I do are fantastic.The reason why I use them more than other services is that they have streamlined the process. Giving a pre-paid package with each return of negatives. Making it a breeze to simply drop the film into it, set it in my mailbox, and wait for it to return.

I last used The Darkroom lab in 2017 and had excellent service and quality but was sadly disappointed this time around to see quality has slipped so much. My scans came back over developed with hairs and dust spots on them. I do better than that developing at home. When I scan if there is a large hair, I remove the neg, clean it, and re-scan. Turn around was quick though and they have a nice customer portal to view the scans. I’m just glad it wasn’t a professional shoot this time. I’m sad to say I will be using a different lab next time if I’m not able to develop myself.** Update – I just got the negatives back and the 120 film was not sleeved and just stacked on top of each other in the paper envelope. Not even a separator between strips. Not happy at all! Lost a customer.
