Stopped here for dinner while driving down I5. What an excellent place this turned out to be. We sat in their open backyard, with our little dog who was very well welcomed. We tried the Florentine and monte cristo crepes – both amazing and flavorful. We also had the flight of wines and loved all 3 varieties. I especially liked their Cabernet. Very smooth and paired well with the food. We tried a sweet Nutella banana crepe for desert and it was an instant favorite at the table. We loved the hospitality, and the friendliness of the staff and owners and will defend recommend this place for a stop over for wine and crepes any day! Thank you for having us!

Their crepes are so good! Together we had 1 vegetarian garden crepe, one with ham and cheese, and 1 dessert crepe with nutella and strawberries. I’m thrilled to have a good veg option in downtown. The soup was fantastic as well. Their coffee is fresh and delicious, and the beer is always a plus. They have a few taps, and one has kombucha which I also love.

The Crepe Escape is the foundation of our Redding food pyramid. The crepes are absolutely delicious, Rich is an awesome host and the back patio is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet dinner date or night with friends.
