Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Forest Hills, NY is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. Family of 3 spent just over $100. Food quality seems to have diminished. All pasta dishes came out cold and undercooked. Plastic utensils. Staff was friendly as usual and other than the food the service was good. I hope they get it together it’s one of my favorite places.

We ordered out, we checked the food before we left. There wasn’t much to be desired by looking at it and the way it tasted..mehh..so that was very disappointing. I find that some restaurants don’t get it right when you order out for pick up unfortunately. However, I would give this TGIF another try because the manager was very nice and super accommodating but this time we’ll dine -in..
