If you ask Dr. Jonathan Sher what he loves most about Optometry, the answer might be a surprise. He enjoys the science and the chance to use high tech equipment on the job, but it’s the patients that make him excited to come to work. Family Atmosphere Texas State Optical of McKinney has developed a loyal group of clients who return yearly for their Mckinney eye care. Dr. Sher looks forward to seeing them and hearing about their lives over the previous 12 months. He is also quite fond of the staff at TSO, giving them credit for the family-like atmosphere. “What I hear repeatedly, is the reason our patients like coming here is that they love the way they are treated. They love the staff. The staff is awesome and treats everyone like family.”

Everyone working for TSO McKinney office is very Professional, Welcoming and Friendly! I am a new patient and it was easy to schedule (and reschedule) my appointment. Clean and organized office with tons of frame options.Dr. Sher was great, very thorough and informative. He answered all of my questions and took his time to explain all of my vision options.Got two new pairs of glasses and was able to walk out with one of them ready to go same day!I can gladly say that I have found my Doctor and office for all my eye care needs!

Had my eye checked and the doc adjusted the precision. Spent the cash, got the new glasses and found they were not very well suited for me. Close up is good, but distance is double vision. Went back to the doctor, he checked the glasses to make sure they were made correctly,they were. Gave me back the glasses and said that there was nothing wrong. He would not recheck my eyes to see if he mad a mistake. Poor practice, would not go back. Find a better doctor.
