Great surprise in the hill country. We were looking for a picnic spot and Perdanales falls state park was closed. I liked everything we tried except the rose. Really laid back vibe and a great view. Locally grown grapes, which you don’t always find with Texas wineries. Left with several bottles.

Just left a few minutes ago! Couldn’t say what the wine tasted like as we sat for 15-20 minutes and were never offered a tasting menu, or any acknowledgement other than being asked to move tables so someone else could come in. The people who came in after us received service before us because they were as she stated members of a wine club. So if you’re not a member of a wine club then you might skip this one. So pretentious and only half heartedly apologetic after we got up to leave. We just wanted to enjoy a nice day off that we rarely get to have.

Sadly, our second visit was not as enjoyable as the first. I wish I had gotten the lady’s name who helped us the first visit as she was truly lovely, knowledgeable and welcoming. Unfortunately, on our second visit we encountered Lisa (insert Karen tone) and her attitude to us and unwelcoming stance made this a most awkward visit and one we will not repeat. Our first visit, we spent several hundred dollars however on our second we each got a glass of wine (left half of mine) and tabbed out. Sorry, but while your location is beautiful your staff is only partially inviting.
