Despite all of your technological innovations, you could not have learnt your staff to accomplish simple tasks. I was waiting for 8 hours to unload the cargo 10000 lbs. Any ordinary company could have done it during just 15 minutes. Shame on you, Tesla

I’ve been a fan of Tesla forever, and I am so glad that I finally went out of my way to test drive one.First off, it took less than 5 minutes from walking in the door to getting in the car. There was no pressure of any kind–the employees are friendly and happy to answer questions, but selling you the car isn’t their job, nor does it need to be. The product sells itself. After a quick scan of my driver’s license and electronic signature of the test drive contract, they texted me a 4-digit password to the car and a brief video that went over the basics.Though I had never driven one before I had sat in one, so I knew what to expect with the stark minimalism and almost unbelievable open space on the interior. Though I am a firm advocate for physical climate control buttons/dials, I found the central screen intuitive and easy to use and I fully expect I could learn to love it.Once actually on the road, the car is simply the most responsive and easy-to-drive vehicle I’ve ever driven. Excellent but not oversensitive breaks, precise and fluid steering, a comfortable ride that still lets you feel the road, and the utterly indescribable gut-punch of EV acceleration.One of the multitude of small things that impressed me was when I was parking at the end of the test drive, the display in front of the steering wheel showed me an extremely accurate real-time measurement of how far the closest edge of the car was from the nearest obstacle. It’s the kind of thing that as a kid I had expected to be standard in every car on earth long before now. That’s what Tesla does–they make the cars that the children of the past expected to be commonplace in 2021.
