Tazi is a real artist, his works are very unique, creative, with Middle East touch! We were looking for some unique furniture that people won’t see them at every store. Tazi was super patient with us and showed his entire showroom to me and my girlfriend. We purchased a daybed, brass ceiling light, leather ottoman, and wood table. We are so happy with his art work and have received many compliments from our friends in just a week.Highly recommend Tazi design if you looking for something unique to create a different environment at your home.

I love Tazi Designs! I can’t thank Tazi enough for his dedication to making my home and surroundings beautiful through the years. I’ve moved 3x since I started collaborating with Tazi in 2011 and each space were transformed in the best way, in harmony with my lifestyle. The showroom in Hayes Valley was a treasure trove full of quality goods and of design inspo! I secretly wished for things I saw and touched there. When the day came for me to actually shop that wish list I did without hesitation nor regret. Tazi Designs’ craftsmen made my ceilings pendants, table & floor lamps, large bespoke mirrors and the minimal/modern tv console finished in tadelakt I commissioned at their workshops in Morocco. Their artisans crafted my Moroccan leather ottomans, Fez silk embroidery pillow covers, matching ottomans and bedspreads with matching pillowcases. I get so many compliments when my guests see these gorgeous soft textiles not just for their beauty but also for the work that went into them, each stitch hand-guided and the color of one of them so vivid still, in deep fuchsia on off white linen with handmade tassels all around. Stunning! Tazi’s trusted staff in Morocco helped me shop for the antique pieces of furniture when I visited Morocco. Each unique piece Tazi helped me bring into my home breathed new life into every space I styled imbuing quality, beauty and color. Tazi himself inspired me with his personal love of mixing Moroccan with modern furniture and it’s still my template to this day. Through his stories and deep knowledge of his own culture, arts and crafts (and cuisine) he helped me develop appreciation for all things Moroccan! I borrowed books of Moroccan arts and crafts he collected, touched and felt the fabrics vintage and new in his beautiful showroom in Hayes Valley, saw myself in a colorful and stylish tunics through the impeccably crafted vintage mirrors, etc. Oh yes I have a couple of rock star royalty-quality tunics from boutiques in Gueliz. On my strolls to Tazi’s quaint location on Linden St. in San Francisco, Tazi shared with me the stories behind each piece of molded clay, geometric symbol on the carpet, carving on the wood, etching on the brass, etc.. He’s clearly proud of his country and everything it has to offer. He even poured Moroccan mint tea replete with warm heartfelt kinship.I was wide-eyed and in awe of the beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship as soon a I touched down in Marrakech, then in Rabat where I met up with Tazi and his family at a beach house where I was greeted with that familiar warm hospitality and fresh seafood too! In Marrakech, Tazi arranged for Abslam, his manager to take me around for a personal shopping experience which exceeded my expectations. Through Abslam, I was able to find the items I was looking for at good prices – antique Styrian folding chairs, a gorgeous vintage chest of drawers with Syrian style bone inlay and a few rugs including a vintage Beni Ourain I’ve been dying to have in my living room. My custom lamps, mirrors, & console, the antique pieces and textiles were shipped in their next container. Upon arrival in San Francisco, I was in the middle of preparing for yet another move. Tazi so graciously agreed to store them a few months until I complete my move to southern California. They all arrived in perfect condition and are now carefully arranged throughout my home here in SoCal. Everyone at Tazi Designs went above and beyond what I would consider a normal business transaction. I thank Tazi Designs for enhancing my life with beautiful pieces I enjoy every day and will cherish for years and and years to come. I would work with Tazi again in a heartbeat. You guys rock!
