Although I find it delightful seeing Tate’s Cookies for sale seemingly everywhere….There is no substitute for a visit to the place where it started.The fresh breads, muffins, cupcakes and other are worth the trip everytime. Keep an eye on the display behind the counter for special bakes. We once scored a couple slices of the most delicious Fresh Strawberry Cake that was just fantastic. The seasonal bread puddings are not to be missed.

Everyone’s favorite bake shop. Very pleasant outdoor seating. Tate’s add great beauty to the neighborhood by keeping wonderful outdoor flowers fresh and with superb periodic refreshing with new plants. Indoors visitors are often treated to a delicious bowl of broken pieces of their famous chocolate chip cookies.
