Lovely spot in Alpine. The staff is super friendly and attentive.Nice indoor intimate environment to share coffee or a meal with a friend, also outdoor seating in a not too busy street so it still feels relaxing. You walk in and the food smells great, pastries are rich in taste and with great texture. Chocolate cake, cookies, muffins, nothing was a miss, all 5/5.Prices are reasonable for the environment and quality and dedication put into the food.

Don’t miss this stop if you are in the beautiful Big Bend area. Incredibly delicious pastries and breads baked from ancient grains hand milled onsite. Staff is friendly and passionate everything they make. Bakery walls showcase gorgeous paintings of favorite Big Bend hikes and vistas painted by the owner’s mom.

Taste and See was recommended to us from a waiter in Marathon. We detoured to Alpine to get lunch to take to Big Bend. The ladies who run the bakery are just great! The food is equal to the service. We had sandwiches, pimento cheese, hummus, a tart and chocolate cake. Very much worth the detour.
