Opened in 2006, by David & John Tarpley, we’re proud to have been serving the fabulous community of San Angelo for over 12 years, as well as the surrounding areas of West & Central Texas for over 91 years. This location is a full-line music store complete with a Acoustic Barn, full-service brass & woodwind repair shop, Digital Piano Gallery, and soon a Texas Guitar Showcase. We’re conveniently located on West Beauregard Ave in the Village Shopping Center, between S Filmore St and S Pierce St (off of Sherwood Way). You can find us on the corner next to Mr. Boots and across the street from Outdoorsman.

Tarpley, is the one stop shop for musical instruments, instrument repair, or just to gain a little shared knowledge if instruments are your thing. The staff is friendly, and very knowledgeable. The prices are comparable to other stores and there’s financing available if credit is your thing. Thanks guys, you got our whole band covered.

Tarpley Music has or can get for you just about anything you would want musically. Guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, and school band instruments. You can try the instruments. If they don’t have it they will special order it for you. Tarpley is a great music store. Give it a try.

I had a bad break on the head stock of a Les Paul Custom…shipped it to someone who worked for Gibson for 20 years to repair it but it wasn’t quite right…then the repair failed and I was worse off than where I started. I then took it to Tarpley Music. Just picked it up today. Amazing job on the repair and the set up is nothing short of perfection. Thank you guys! Highly recommend
