Tangerine hookah bar from the outside seems mysterious, when you walk in you immediately get asked for identification for proof of age without being greeted first.After this you may sit where you please, and are offered to smell testers and given a menu to see flavors. There is a great selection of these, as well as teas and other beverages.It is accessible friendly in terms of entrance, toilets and some seating (but not all) and I can’t imagine navigating around would be the easiest as it’s quite small and narrow.Overall we enjoyed our experience and I would definitely come back. 🙂

This place is in the heart of San Jose Downtown and has ample of parking area in front of it. It has parking for disabled as well. Tangerine is adult friendly and has some really good people running the place. The owners are super cool and the people working there are super friendly. I have been visiting this place for over an year and have made some really nice connections. You can always find people here and regulars are great to chat with. Do remember that Fridays and Saturdays do become crowded so coming before 11PM will help you get a seat fast.TIP: Sometimes it becomes really overwhelming when you have tons of flavors to select from. Unlike few other hookah places nearby this place offers you a lot of different flavor to select from. So as I was mentioning, if this becomes overwhelming you should feel free to talk to the people working there and believe me I got some of my favorite Hookah recommended by them.Overall I love this place and the people out here. Do check this out.

You get a whole platter with little jars of each to see/smell before making your selection. Very low key, some music playing. Wasn’t rowdy. Good hookah. Good place to come with friends to relax. The place itself is alright, seating a bit aged.The shisha itself is good, each person gets their own mouth piece. They have very pro containers for the charcoal to keep the heat going.
