What can I say about this parlor and shop? Oh I know, it is the best. Cari is amazingly deft with her styling and conversation. I have been to many stylists and she is the best. The pandemic hit and I couldn’t get my hair cut but because she is so talented my hair looked great after four months.The shop is clean. The curiosities are fun. The staff are friendly. You can even pay in advance! Special circumstances have made my experiences there better and better each time. Thank you Cari!

Anessa is an amazing hairstylist and colorist! She does a phenomenal job with highlight/lowlights and cuts and is a magician when it comes to blending in the grays. Her dynamic, inclusive personality makes you feel immediately welcome and cared for when you’re in her salon chair. I now live 400+ miles away but still come to Talking Heads when I’m in town because she’s that great!Plus, I love the ambiance at Talking Heads… it makes me feel like I’m getting my hair done at LUX on South Avenue. Chill, alternative, vibe!
