Granted, they were nice people, but this place is a money grab.

We have 5 lines and needed a new phone for two so we went into the store for the Buy One Get One Free promotion. The sales people said we’d need to add another line of service to get the free phone. We reluctantly added the other line ( we were thinking of getting another line next year for our youngest) then we get our bill and our plan has been changed and we are now paying 2x as much for just adding another line and new phone PLUS no promotions were applied!!!! SHADY, SHADY, SHADY!

I had a cracked screen (minor) on my smartphone and took it to the Sprint store at 364 S La Cienega in West Hollywood at 3:30pm. This is the closest repair store to my home in East Hollywood, 4.1 miles one way through city traffic. It took 1.5 hours round trip on my scooter. I was told that the only repairman on duty just left for lunch and won’t be back for 1.5 hours! I asked if I could leave the phone and pick it up in a few hours, but was told they cannot hold the phone (making it very inconvenient for me.). The sales rep told me to come back later since they’re open until 8:00pm. He said he’ll get me right in and won’t have to start at the bottom of the queue.I drove 4.1 miles back home and then returned for a second time at 7:00pm. Now I was told that the sole technician on duty leaves at 7:30pm not 8:00pm and they need 1.5 hours to fix so it’s impossible to repair tonight. They said to come back tomorrow for the third time! Why couldn’t they tell me these details when I was there earlier in the day? This is the worst experience with phone repair I’ve ever had. By the way, I have the Sprint Complete package ($20/month) and it covers cracked screens for an additional $29. I am disappointed because I have been paying $20 per month for 2 years but when I need their help they made it as inconvenient as possible to get repairs—in this case making me drive 16 miles (2 roundtrips) and 3.0 hours of wasted time through rush hour traffic for nothing! I’m planning on switching to a different carrier because of this awful experience.I don’t recommend getting Sprint if repair service is important to you because they don’t have enough stores that do repairs in the LA area and are severely understaffed (only 1 tech in a 4 mile radius where 200,000 people reside.)
