Just stopped in to browse and I ended up purchasing 3 cute Wooden Bowls (base tag states that the product is made in India)- I also purchased a set of Life is Good Coasters ($.An Associate was kind enough to check with her manager on one of the bowls that didn’t have a price tag and it was the last one one the shelf. Discounted the bowl…score!…or so I thought.I washed the bowls and waited for them to dry. To my disappointment with the bowls are now dull after simply being washed with Dawn Dish Liquid and water. The top Coaster where the Price Tag was now has a dark spot that won’t come off.I’ve purchased Wooden Bowls from other businesses, i.e. Ross Dress for Less Store and have never run into the problem with the finish turning colors after being washed. I’ll allow them to dry overnight to see if there are any changes but I’ve never seen a vibrant wood change texture so quickly to now a dull wood with a simple wash.Now, I’m annoyed because I took the tags off and I’m really not in the mood to drive back out to Downey to return them but I will.

It’s basically a Ross/Marshall’s but a lot cleaner and feels like they sell better quality items. It was too crowded in there, in my opinion there shouldn’t be so many people in the store. The aisles are small and when there’s employees restocking it isn’t social distancing. The customer service was great and very fast and efficient when helping me.
