This bakery is legit – my ALL time favorite on Long Island! Everything fresh ALWAYS! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are affordable. Bakery is clean and clearly follows social distancing rules. But the best part? Every single thing I’ve ever purchased from SS is delicious – from their sugar free blueberry muffins, cookies, cakes and pies to their St. Joseph’s pastry (got the LAST one late this morning)! It’s endless!Please try them out if you have not already! I will always continue to support our local businesses through these tough times and if you agree, then Sweet Surrender should definitely be on your list!

Me and my family typically love this bakery. All the desserts are quality and delicious but this time really put a bad taste in my mouth. The Staff was extremely rude and tried to rush us out of the store. Also I understand because of the mandates that there can only be 2 people in at a the store at a time but when I went to go look on the other side of the store to see what cakes and pies there were on the other side of the showcase, we were told to stay on our side of the counter. How are we supposed to see all of the desserts you offer? We even tried to purchase more things and ask a question about a pie a the girl behind the counter was very impatient and gave us a snarky face. I think if you want to have returning customers then maybe teach your staff some customer service skills.
