She rather service “walk-ins” than “confirmed appointments.”

Great haircuts at reasonable prices.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Clean, very efficient, great price. One of the best haircuts I’ve had in the Bay Area at a fraction of the price of what I usually pay. I didn’t get her name, but the stylist there was super friendly and professional. Definitely coming back.

RACE DISCRIMINATION! I attempted to get a haircut on 6/27. My appointment was at 9:15 am. I walked into the store around 9:10 am. The staff told me that she was full and wanted me to go find another location. There were only three other customers in the entire store. I tried to explained to her that I have a 9:15 am appointment. It didn’t matter to her. She rather service “walk-ins” than “confirmed appointments.” (I know they are walk-ins because the staff was trying to enter their names and phone numbers in the computer system around 9:30 am) The three other customers were “white.” I sense she was scared of me because I am Chinese and might be carrying the Chinese Flu. Usually, walk-ins are placed on a standby list. If a confirmed customer doesn’t show up for an appointment, then the business gives the time slot to the walk-ins. Also in a post COVID-19 world, haircuts are supposed to be by appointment only. Again, this is a clear case of race discrimination.

I like going here for my haircuts. Sometimes I have to wait but not very long. I usually get a buzz cut so my haircut doesn’t take long to do. The employees are always nice and greet people with a smile.
