I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Subway Employee! I asked Robert many questions about the Subs of the day, price differences between the 12-inch Sub Meal and the $6.50 Sub Combo. He told me what I wanted to know, and was VERY upbeat about it! I was a bit drained from my walking, and He sensed that. Robert was very attentively doing what He could to create a Refreshing Atmosphere.As Robert made my Sub, He asked why I didn’t prefer the yellow peppers, but wanted everything else. He told me that He didn’t prefer Black Olives on His Sandwiches. And I realized that I preferred it from eating pizza. It wasn’t used in a lot of dishes I had back in Louisiana. Turns out Robert was from Louisiana also. Pretty Cool.It comes down to this. My day wasn’t the best. I thought I was just walking into a Subway to get an order filled and go on about my way. But that Guy Robert, He changed that for Me. He was Attentive to all the details of my Meal, found MANY common grounds for Good Conversation, and even told Me about His day and some about His Heritage. He wasn’t putting on a show or ‘Going Through The Motions.’ I believed in His ‘Positive Attitude Mindset’ as well as His approach to Customer Service! That Location has its Challenges.If ANY Company is looking for That NEXT Manager to Train or That NEW Person to invest in… then think on Robert. This Guy would, I Believe, represent Your Brand in a way that is Relatable, Personal, and with a Positive Integrity Second-to-None! The interaction I had, with Robert, became a pivot-point for the rest of My Day. Someone should Invest in that Leader, cause He’s a Keeper!

The app mess up my order this isn’t the first time. The manager is refusing to refund it. And I sat there while she started the order and told her that it was messed up. She said it was too late nothing she can do about it. Literally have no idea why to app malfunctioned I dont even like over half the items on the list. Being an ex assistant manager at subway this is just ridiculous. This store has no functionality.

1:37 p.m the young man working today 3-22-21 didn’t greet me when I came in. He didn’t wash his hands. The front line was dirty and very nasty. He smashed my bread. The cutting knives were dirty. So gross. He was very rude. Plus I had to repeat myself that I only wanted my chicken heated and not toasted. The building of the sandwich was completely wrong. I worked for the Subway franchise for years and I always made sure to build sandwiches the proper way. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat at this Subway. 2521 Broadway St. Galveston, Tx
