Totally unreliable. Placed an order 2 weeks ago – no delivery. Called to check on delivery and they promised delivery the next day – no delivery. Called again two days later – no delivery. said the driver couldn’t get in. No call, no fuel, Just excuses. I noticed the poor rating, should have gone elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake.

I have no complaints about Suburban. We switched suppliers about a year ago–they were among the least expensive–and the only reservation I had came from their Google rating of one star, based on a single scathing review. Their office staff is friendly and helpful; their online portal is simple and useful; deliveries are straightforward.

This company exists to enrich its stockholders. As of August 2017, SPH pays out a 15% yield, or $0.8875 per quarter per share. Their website is awful; scheduling online payments is not for the faint of heart. But don’t even think of not paying your bill the same day! You have 5 days to get your check to New Jersey!The price of propane changes with the market. They count on you not knowing the going price, so when you get a bill that’s twice what you paid last month per gallon, you have to call them to get it adjusted.
