Yesterday I broke my glasses and I went to Station Square Eyes today. I want to give a recommendation to this place. It really has the best customer service. The last time I went I remember I was helped by Genie (probably spelled her name wrong) but I was informed by Max she was retired now.Max was WONDERFUL. He was so sweet, great customer service, and he was so helpful in helping me choose a pair for my face. I couldn’t find my physical insurance card so he had to call my insurance and get all the info which he was more than happy to do. Max was so excited for me that I had a great vision plan lol. He was very patient with me as I was very picky and I hate shopping. Max kept me within my budget and listened to what I was looking for/not looking for. Both people that have helped me here have been memorable.I was told it would take a week because I paid for the works (Anti-glare, blue light etc etc) being that I work at my computer all day long, I figured it was an investment to my eyes. I don’t have spare glasses so I’m basically blind for now, I can’t even see the subtitles on my TV. I am currently typing this super close to my face. After I asked if they could temporarily fix my frames which was unsuccessful, the optometrist told him to put a rush on it for me because I can’t see and have no spare glasses. I’m hoping to have them within a few days and not a week but I appreciated the consideration. I have such a headache right now from typing on my phone. I wasn’t even able to work today because I couldn’t see the letters on my screen from my computer chair. My vision is pretty bad without my glasses. When I asked them if they could do something temporarily to fix my broken frames, maybe some crazy glue? They suggested I don’t do that because it would ruin the lens, which I could still pop into other frames. This suggestion was after I paid for my new frames, so they weren’t trying to extract more money from me lol. I appreciated that. They have really cool, stylish frames. Lots of colors, even though I went with black again. Lots of affordable name brands. By affordable I mean affordable, I’m poor. I was happy with the price I paid for what I received. The optometrist Andrea was also super friendly and understood that 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 all looked the same to me and didn’t make me feel anxious about it. Usually I can tell when the eye doctors are frustrated with me because I can’t choose and it makes me super anxious. Also, for those who care, they did a temperature check, COVID questionnaire and hand sanitizer at the entrance.I apologize in advance for any errors in this rant, I can’t reread all of this at the moment.

I am a patient of this organization for quite some time now, I’ve gotten two sunglasses and eyeglass from here in the past. However my most recent experience has got to be by far the most disappointing in all my years of dealing with optical organizations. The doctor is amazing however the individual who works on the eyeglass could benefit from additional training. My lense are physically protruding out of the frame as if it’s going to pop out anytime. After noticing it after I picked them up, I immediately when back and an individual states there’s nothing she can do. I can’t simply understand how can an eyeglass place not be able to make the lense properly fit the frames. Perhaps they felt that since it was covered by the insurance and I paid no out of pocket cost, it was okay to not put any effort into the product. The workmanship is very dissatisfying I must say and will not be returning unfortunately.
