For a bunch of beat up, stained, low quality stuff, it’s too expensive. I got a handful of kids books that were near falling apart for a project I’m working on and they wanted $1.50 and up for some of them. Friends of the Library doesn’t even charge that much for their books and their stuff is in great condition. I walked out of St. Vincent with 13 barely bound books for $20. I will be driving all the way downtown to Salvation Army from now on where the used books are only $0.25 and in better condition, not to mention they have nicer customer service.
