Spectrum enjoys a well-deserved reputation for low-quality service and inferior-grade equipment. Customer Service is a misnomer; a number of frustrated customer’s have an interminable wait time (long line) in order to speak with exactly one know-nothing sales associate. Spectrum is a monopoly that needs to be broken and scattered to the winds.

The most rude customer service I’ve had from spectrum. Laura very rude person talking over and no friendly service. Calling other people when we haven’t yet left and still having questions. The store had three staff in it when I arrived. No line. I was helped immediately. I was asked if I had called ahead, which I had, so they seemed to have noted that on my account in their computer system, which I appreciated. I was returning some unused equipment. They scanned the bar codes and I was handed a receipt. There was a slight delay due to a computer issue, but I was kept informed over the 2-3 minutes it took to resolve. When I got home I noticed I had an email documenting the change in my service. It was very efficient.They also had good health-safety measures in place: spots on the carpet, plexiglass shields, enough space for people to be socially distanced.
