If you’re a normal person with typical middle of the road salaries, this place is not for you. Amazing speakers and components but most of their inventory starts around $1000 (each, not pairs). I also asked if they could repair my definitive tech subwoofer. Phone call said yes so I loaded up my 100 pound sub only to get there and be turned away. I also got the impression that they were very condescending when I told him the brand. Their reply was we haven’t sold those in years. Our techs wouldn’t know what to do with it. Can’t get parts. Really? Your techs don’t know how to check or replace capacitors? They are also listed on the def tech web site as an authorized repair shop.

I live a couple hours away but this is the closest place to go for me to indulge in this niche market. As it’s not close, I only get here once or twice a year but when I do I feel like I’m greeted by my old friends I only get to go play golf with once in a blue moon. I feel its genuine too. They seem eager to see what I’m interested in and my impressions on things. Parting ways with the guys is never easy and usually just as painful as realizing how long it will be till i get to hear those beautiful sonus Fabers, magico, hegel, luxman or what ever else managed to make me all giggly. Excellent selection and prices. Till next time guys (which will be soon)

This shop is our own little hi fi heaven in WNY. I’ve been shopping here for years, and there’s no other store like it in the area. It’s a luxury to be able to audition hundreds of speaker and gear combinations when you are shopping for the next upgrade to your listening room.Mike P.
