I drove 4 hrs from Pennsylvania to Karen’s shop. What a wonderful experience. The customer service is superb. I’ve been having trouble finding the right paddleboard because of my weight and height. Karen took care of everything, and the best part, I had options. I walked out of her shop with the perfect paddleboard for my athletic needs and with the biggest smile. Thank you, Karen, for making this process so easy, and thank you for putting up with me for two days. You are amazing.

Being that there’s a shortage of paddle boards country wide right now, i moved forward with purchasing a board here, but i can say indefinitely that i will give no further business to them. On 2 separate days, i watched the shop owner tangentially encouraging people not to wear masks upon entrance. And berating people who chose to leave them on, by asking aggressive questions such as “well what are you just going to wear that thing forever” stating the govt can’t control us. This aside, she was rude in all other ways possible, completely unorganized, and not helpful regarding guidance of her products. I understand these are difficult times for small businesses and it’s upsetting for me to have to write a negative review in any local business during tough times. But the behavior here was absolutely awful. To speak condescendingly to others that, some were visibly high risk, and other not visibly but high risk none the less, was nauseating to see. I also waited an extremely long period of time to be helped, to the point that other customers who came in after me asked if she was going to help me or not bc they saw me waiting patiently in a friendly manner regardless.
