Their hardware selection looked good, but what I wanted to do was to compare lumber prices and quality. I went by their lumber and not a single price was listed. No price per foot or anything. Most didn’t even have the correct label of what they were — yes, I can tell the difference between redwood and red oak. This is a thing for me because I want build some kind of trust with a shop, so either they knew that prices would scare folks away or they were going to fudge prices for friends. Nobody was around to talk to, so I just left.

I went early on a Saturday and everyone was so helpful and nice. I bought some lumber for a garden bed to bring home with me that day, and more for delivery to repair our fence that I couldn’t fit in my car. Easy, reasonably priced, and great customer service. Support local!
