Soundscape Records opened to vinyl enthusiasts in 2018. We are near the epicenter of downtown Chico (located off CA32/Nord Avenue, behind Xhale smoke shop). Soundscape is unlike other record stores, with a rich variety of all New vinyl. Specializing in sought after rare, out of print, indie exclusive, colored and catalog titles we are sure to provide a unique and personal shopping experience.

This has to be my favorite record store in Chico, undoubtedly. Loads of amazing titles in stock, including modern artists that I seek and can never find here in Chico, or any local record store. Amir, the owner, is an awesome conversationalist and helps make the shopping experience an amazing one. I love the DIY aspect of the interior and the aesthetic of the shop, something you won’t see in other stores here in Chico. I find myself always coming here for my vinyl and it will stay that way. I highly recommend this store for newer titles and rare gems!
