We always enjoy visiting Sonoma Plaza and the shops/restaurants surrounding the square. We were a little surprised on May 30 2020 that very few visitors were wearing face masks. But it remains a great place to visit

Grew up here. It’s changed a lot. Feel free to consume wine or beer within the park. It’s one of the only parks in CA where it is legal to do so.

Beautiful plaza in the center of town. Lots of great shops, restaurants and historic buildings surround the plaza. The center of the plaza has a great green space to picnic, ounce and for kids to run around. We were here on Palm Sunday in the late morning and it was busy. People dining at restaurants and lots of cars surrounding the plaza.
