Solomon’s

Solomon’s is named after Russ Solomon, founder of the coolest and most successful company ever to launch in Sacramento, Tower Records. With the motto “No Music, No Life”, the stores were hang outs for musicians and music lovers in all major US cities and around the world. Solomon’s, just like Tower Records, is a community gathering place with soul where culture and music is celebrated and everyone is welcome! Located in a former Tower Records, the restaurant also features The Russ Room on the 2nd floor, a multi-faceted private event event space for parties and presentations, an art gallery with rotating shows every two months, and an entertainment venue for DJ’s, live music, movies, and more!

… gives a nice twang. Potato and onion knish also tasty. Love the preservation of the soul of the old record store that once was here. Fantastic pics on the walls …

Got the Tres Leches French Toast. The vibes at this place is great – very hip and cool. It’s more of a brunch spot for friends and young people. The servers were super friendly and energetic. I’d recommend sitting inside if you’re hoping to have significant conversations with your dining partners! My friend and I sat outside, and it was quite hard to speaker over the blaring speakers.Took one star off because, as special as the french toast was, it felt more like a snack or shareable than brunch. It was yummy, but I got sick of the taste midway through because it was so sweet and there weren’t many other flavors in the dish to balance it out.Otherwise, I love how unique the dish is!

I haven’t been there yet but I’m giving 5 stars already for my expectation. I’m a New York Jewish girl who has lived in California for almost 41 years and truth be told I MISS REAL BAGELS so I’m going there this weekend to give it a try. I’d love to see Italian rainbow cookies on the menu that I fondly remember getting in New York bakeries. Any chance of that happening at your deli?

Miss the Jewish deli menu but their new stuff is still good. Eden was my server and she was fantastic. Answered all my questions and made great recommendations. Can’t wait to come back and try the manischewitz sangria.
