ROGER BROWNING
I’ve never been to this store even though I have been to so many independent bookstores of the city. I have heard although many great things from the offerings there of black authors and their support given. I am not a black man and my lifestyle far from that of the city, but I do believe it important to support independent stores of the area where they live and I know the importance of all knowledge. I am a writer. A writer from north Texas. A ranching life is what I lead and the book I wrote reflects my own way, which is much different than that of yours. I however believe you very important, as I have heard and read so many good things of you. Maybe one day with want and comfort to us both, we will cross paths with a cordial visit. I’d love that and my hopes you would as well. Please support this store and others like it, because independence and understanding is what we all need. My name is Roger Browning author of ‘The Reckoning of Rance.’ Now on amazon.

Love that this bookstore was brought to our neighborhood 19 years ago. Amazing books with knowledge that we should all have access to.

Awesome independent book store in Washington Heights that is open, though with limited hours. If you want to help keep this gem around, please go and buy some books. For those on a budget, there are low-cost items outside for adults and some very inexpensive titles for kids.
