I have used Simply Mac numerous times and been very pleased. That is why I chose to take my Mac Mini to them when it would only partially boot up. Evidently my only option was to pay $99 to have them reinstall the software. I wrongly assumed they would hook it up to a monitor before wiping it clean, to see what the issue was. But no, they wiped it clean and installed the new operating system. When I took it home the issue was not resolved…it was my MONITOR and not the computer! So, $99 wasted, and a couple of hours reinstalling everything on my new operating system. All could have been avoided if they had checked out my complaint before proceeding with the repair. When I asked for compensation, I was told no adjustment could be made. Not sure if I will use them in the future or not.

Wouldn’t replace the screen on my phone because it wasn’t bad enough, saying they needed approval from Apple. When I called Apple and told them the situation the Apple rep said that doesn’t make any sense and made me an appointment at Best Buy to replace the screen. I have Apple Care for a reason, and if Simply Mac can’t or doesn’t want to honor that then I don’t see a reason to go there.
