I love Rivercenter Mall. I’m a native Texan but moved back in 2019 after 23yrs away. It has changed a lot. Still a great mall. My only complaint is that there are no benches to sit and rest a minute. That was a real disappointment. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5…

LOVED THIS HIDDEN GEM. the outside looks horrible but the inside in nice. The shops closed at 7pm but the physical mall doesn’t lock down til 12am…. so park anywhere and you can still walk thru the mall to get 2 your vehicle on any level after the shops close.

Wow, what can I say about this place. It’s like the perfect mix of Spanish-Mexican-American settlers’ fever dreams. You’ve got boats, bars, restaurants, a mall, resorts, beautiful scenery, you’ve got everything. I’ve been there several times now and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because in the 90s and 00s the area was really well-preserved, nowadays, you get a faint smell of stagnant water and the venue needs a little bit more love in general (needs a re-modeling and to be a little cleaner). Overall, it’s a good place to visit if you ever travel to San Antonio. You still get to have a good time with family and friends, but it’s not nearly as good as it was back in the day.
