Positive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value They did an amazing job! had to have a dress hemmed and the shoulders/sleeves tailored in a week and they had it done in a timely manner at a great price. Both super sweet ladies and answered my calls and questions immediately. Will definitely go back for any alteration needs 🙂

I am so disappointed about my botched dress alteration. I chose this place because my husband had a cut shirt- baseball sewn here. Despite the unfortunate nature of a baseball stitch it was done tight, neat and on the spot. I thought it spoke volumes about their skill set.I brought in a new Target bought dress to make a tad smaller around the ribcage and bust. Upon consultation the seamstress relayed to me it was going to be a lot of work because of how she had to open the dress up. We even pinpointed a few areas where the fabric was wearing because of the delicate material so I made sure to ask if there was anything she could do about that and she said yes, that when she pulls the sides in she’ll end up re-sewing a new seam. Once she told me it was going to be $21, I hesitated since that would make the whole dress about $45. I wanted so badly to wear it to my daughter’s 1st birthday and she assured me again that the cost was due to the work effort. So I rethought it and how it will be worth it if I wear it often.I’m giving two stars because the dress was done on time. However, in my pictures you can see a wild misalignment and on top of that it was bunched on the sides. When I tried it on I was being watched by the two women that work there plus a girl that had walked in to retrieve her item so it was kind of an awkward situation but anyone could tell I was not thrilled. She kept asking what you want so I timidly proceeded to point out the flaws that were so obvious and she just kept relaying I don’t touch, I don’t touch that as in, she made smaller but wasn’t responsible for the other pre-existing seams. She also told me that she didn’t end up re-seaming the middle vertical chest lines as discussed, because she’d need more material.I felt a little scammed because of how obvious the dress is not right yet they were standing there not acknowledging it. I think it should be safe to assume that a seamstress can foresee what the dress will look like when pinning you and not attempt the work unless certain of a suitable fit. I was not given an accurate preview before I agreed to the work, when she pinned me there were no bunches and crooked seams. I understand mistakes happen but in the least I would expect an ideal seamstress to talk with me about how the dress is clearly crooked and not fitted and admit plans went awry. Maybe offer my ruined item back to me free of charge, seeing how the dress is unpresentable therefore unwearable, or try again? I even asked if the price was the same since she decided to not make new seams where the material is tearing and she said yes, the price would still be the same.If you are trying your luck here, I would suggest taking pictures of yourself in your clothing after she pins you, that way you have some reference to what was agreed on should you receive a different outcome.

I had an idea of an outfit I needed for a day of the dead event, dia de los muertos. She measured me and she made it just for me at a very very reasonable price. Very happy!!
