We ultimately struck out here but we felt like they gave us time and truthful advice.We live in a Port Aransas (beach) neighborhood with a strict policy on house colors. We went to Sherwin Williams with our existing color (pastel, mint green) hoping to come away with their Emerald exterior paint in that color. They tried to mix it but unfortunately they didn’t have a yellow base and if they add yellow to paint too much it grays within a year. They told us all of that instead of selling us what they could mix. I appreciate their time and honesty. If we change colors next time I would probably come back to Sherwin Williams.Also, because we had time to browse, the store had a lot of useful supplies: everything from ladders and paintbrushes to wood putty and caulk guns. There were at least five employees working (on a Monday afternoon) and professional painters were in and out pretty quickly. Sometimes there was a wait though, and if you could call ahead I would recommend it.I can’t comment on the quality of the paint.
