Each register has one designated display case with products, which I’ve been told only the person working that register can access. Products are not distributed evenly between these cases. This creates an inconsistent answer to Do you have this product in stock? entirely dependent on who calls you to their register first.I found this out when I went in a couple of weeks back to buy a specific product and was met with a gentleman who assured me they were entirely out because the case he had access to didn’t contain any of that product. He tried to sell me on something more expensive, but I’d seen the product I was there for in another register’s display case so I just got back in line and purchased several from the other employee.A setup which doesn’t afford employees (and therefore customers) the luxury of knowing what is in stock is an unattractive hassle.
