Love this place … We come from the lower Hudson valley area to come here… Always well worth the drive. We spend a hour or so and always find lots of books. And for $1 each…cant beat that deal!

An unmanned book store with a camera and a money box. Great for kids to choose a book or two for a buck each. Not just paperbacks; DVDs, books on tape, and hardcovers too. Pretty picked over but enough variety to find at least one.

I’ve been here several times and always find at least one book. It’s like going to a book garage sale – you never know what you’ll find, and you really have to look through everything. It’s not organized the way a bookstore that sells new books would be organized, although children’s books are separated out, and cookbooks are mostly in groups (,but not all in the same section). It’s a fun way to shop, and you find books that you wouldn’t normally find if you only looked in one genre of books. 🙂
