Very nostalgic. Lots of fun to be had. Masks are a must right now for most venues. That said most people didn’t have them. Overall a great day out for a family.

My family and I loved the pier!Even though it was a little windy and brisk, we had a great time. Loved the sunset view from here. Only down side of the visit was that only in-state visitors were allowed in the rides, so we’ll just have to comeback again another time. We enjoyed a day on the beach by the pier as well, it was pretty clean and public parking lots near by and if you don’t have chairs or an umbrella, you can rent some here.

Beautiful views. Iconic rides. Must stop by if your visiting Santa Monica. It’s also by the 3rd street promenade where there are a lot of great restaurants to stop by. Even if the pier is too crowded, driving down the street and finding some parking to just walk down the beach is nice too.
